Sales Operations Senior Analyst (Finance)



This role is responsible for managing all aspects of Cigna's Sales Operations Renewal Process that align with Cigna's product offerings, funding types and platforms for assigned regions. This includes highly complex client renewals that comprise of custom requests, extra reporting, compressed turnaround times against the client's effective dates, and sensitive cases. Key responsibilities include handling unique and intricate renewal transactions and workflows, managing the technical service experience for larger and/or complex cases, driving improvements related to the client readiness and install process as well as producing compliant benefit summaries for our clients and customers. Act as liaison between the Sales team and internal partners (e.g. Product, Funding, System Deployment, and Implementation ) . Collaborate with designated Lead Analysts, fellow Retention Senior Analysts, and Client Services colleagues to monitor the processing and reporting of key renewal transactions and deliverables. Identify opportunities for process improvements to deliver differentiated value to renewing clients, customers and producer partners, reduce financial risk for successful case implementations.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for designated sales markets and responsible for highly complex client renewals and manage intricate sales installation processes for "In good order" (IGO) status.
  • Exhibits expert knowledge and understanding of complex processes, compliance and regulatory requirements and can effectively apply in a fast- paced environment. Deliver work within dual systems, platforms, funding types, and multi-products.
  • Provide support for designated Retention Operations Leads on all issues and initiatives related to resolving issues or delegating to other team members as needed.
  • Accountable to collaborate with the Sales team upon renewal to understand the products, benefits and services for sold cases. Make independent decisions and present proactive solutions/approaches to mitigate delays and potential risks for timely case installs. Specifically identify risks, diagnose problems, perform root cause analysis, understand notifications as well as changes, influence, solve problems and make recommendations.
  • Lifts administrative drain from client managers by delivering BNCA, PBAB, BST, UW procedures and applications required to ensure a seamless implementation.
  • Enhance and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Present and explain sales renewal operation process and support more junior level communication and operation discussions
  • Serve as a business resource and lead projects or complete project tasks within broader projects including program and technical application projects.
  • Provide subject matter knowledge to cross-functional teams and influence business partners accuracy and importance of timely submission to execute.
  • Design, enhance and maintain standard operating procedures and reporting related to renewal execution
  • Utilize problem solving skills, services knowledge to proactively identify root causes of issues.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work under tight time constraints and communicate effectively for team success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Associate's degree in a related field preferred or at least 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Previous sales operations/sales support skills and working knowledge/experience in case renewalsstrongly preferred
  • Ability to quickly understand the Clients' needs and expectations
  • Strong attention to detail; Exceptional experience in all product and funding types and BNCA, PBAB, BST, UW procedures
  • Proven Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strongly preferred
  • Organized and experienced in meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
  • Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce is required
  • Prior experience working with matrix partners and external customers ispreferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 62,100 - 103,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
