As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our resident-centered approach to care by providing personalized support and assistance to promote resident physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Your Role:As a Certified Nursing Assistant at ClarkLindsey, you will provide friendly, compassionate, and adaptable healthcare services to older adults under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering meaningful connections and enhancing quality of life.Monitoring and documenting resident vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.Assisting with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics and safety techniques to prevent falls and injuries.Collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and preferences.

Requirements:The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Illinois.Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to provide person-centered care to older adults.Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of residents and the healthcare team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with residents and families.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $22.90 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
Differentials in the amount of $1.50 per hour are paid for any shift worked between the hours of 7:00pm and 7:00am. (CNA, RA, LPN, RN)
Any stand-by shifts are paid at $2.50 per hour while on stand-by, and at the normal hourly rate if called in.

Job Requirements

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.CNA's must abide by ClarkLindsey's HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee Handbook.Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.CNA's must have current and up to date Illinois certification.Stand-by shifts are required, and will be discussed at the time of interviewAfter training is completed, CNAs will float between departments as needed to optimize resident care
