Maintenance Supervisor (Finance)

Duties:
• Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all team members follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies
• Coordinates with contractors and venders making sure insurance and licenses are current
• Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems
• Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment
• Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary
• Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan
Qualifications:
• 2-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position
• Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
• Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations
