As a global EPC leader, we connect solar, wind, and energy storage projects to the grid. In this Lead Engineer role, you'll oversee all engineering activities from proposal through design and construction on high-voltage substation projects. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll lead cross-discipline coordination and ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality execution across a range of projects—including AIS, GIS, BESS, rail, infrastructure, data centers, and onshore/offshore wind—up to 400 kV. What will you do?

Project Execution

  • Deliver engineering tasks on schedule and within budget.

  • Support full project lifecycle: proposal, design, construction, and commissioning.

Engineering Leadership

  • Develop and review design documents (SLDs, layouts, criteria).

  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and industry standards.

Site & Technical Assessments

  • Conduct evaluations for brownfield substations.

  • Provide technical input during construction and installation.

Subcontractor & Vendor Management

  • Lead bid reviews and negotiations.

  • Validate subcontractor proposals and ensure alignment with project specs.

  • Monitor vendor compliance and witness factory testing.

Project Controls

  • Manage engineering budgets and schedules.

  • Support procurement, change orders, and scope management.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead technical discussions and approvals.

  • Resolve design-related issues and manage scope changes.

Who you are?

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering discipline or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of substation engineering experience.
