Manufacturing Repair & Maintenance Group Lead - 2nd Shift (Maintenance)



Description:

The Group Leader, Maintenance supports the maintenance department objective by keeping production equipment operating efficiently; ensures maintenance and repair work is completed in a safe, effective and timely manner. Ensures that cGMP and SOP has been followed.

Schedule:

2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday

Essential Functions:

  • Perform preventative maintenance of equipment in a timely manner. Coordinate with User department for scheduling preventative maintenance activity.
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdown/assigned mechanics.
  • Lead maintenance mechanics for assigned work.
  • Maintain critical spares of equipment, tools, oil and grease; if required request for purchase.
  • Work on predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
  • Follow SOPs and cGMP good documentation practices.
  • Follow and ensure safety rules.
  • Prioritizes day to day work based on requirements.
  • Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.

 

Education:

  • High School or GED - Required

Experience:

  • 5 years or more in Preference in pharma industry.

Skills:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Intermediate
  • Read ,write and communication skills - Intermediate
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. - Intermediate
  • Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed. - Intermediate
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules for all Operations departments. - Intermediate
  • Leadership skills. - Intermediate
  • Knowledge on use of Microsoft Office & Excel. - Intermediate
