Manufacturing Repair & Maintenance Group Lead - 2nd Shift (Maintenance)
Description:
The Group Leader, Maintenance supports the maintenance department objective by keeping production equipment operating efficiently; ensures maintenance and repair work is completed in a safe, effective and timely manner. Ensures that cGMP and SOP has been followed.
Schedule:
2nd Shift 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventative maintenance of equipment in a timely manner. Coordinate with User department for scheduling preventative maintenance activity.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdown/assigned mechanics.
- Lead maintenance mechanics for assigned work.
- Maintain critical spares of equipment, tools, oil and grease; if required request for purchase.
- Work on predictive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
- Follow SOPs and cGMP good documentation practices.
- Follow and ensure safety rules.
- Prioritizes day to day work based on requirements.
- Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.
Education:
- High School or GED - Required
Experience:
- 5 years or more in Preference in pharma industry.
Skills:
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Intermediate
- Read ,write and communication skills - Intermediate
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. - Intermediate
- Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed. - Intermediate
- Ability to plan maintenance schedules for all Operations departments. - Intermediate
- Leadership skills. - Intermediate
- Knowledge on use of Microsoft Office & Excel. - Intermediate
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $34.50 to $45.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
