Join the Publix Technology Manufacturing Support Team as an Intermediate Business Systems Analyst where you will be responsible for understanding business processes, supporting applications/systems, working with third party vendors, remediating security vulnerabilities, and developing implementation plans for technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage security vulnerabilities and security compliance documentation for manufacturing, industrial maintenance, and retail refrigeration applications
  • Lead remediation efforts with business units and vendors to resolve application upgrade issues and security vulnerabilities throughout all lifecycle stages
  • Serve as product champion or owner during the validation of various applications to support infrastructure patching initiatives and application upgrades – could be in the role of product owner on certain products such as Bomgar for vendor access
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to document business and system requirements (i.e., security, capacity, regulatory, scalability, reliability, recovery, and audit), user stories, and refine product backlog for complex technology solutions under less specific guidance; ensure work performed is in line with business strategy
  • Analyze and document business processes, gather requirements based on those processes, and uncover areas for improvement
  • Ensure technology solutions and enhancements meet or exceed change management, security, and compliance policies
  • Analyze and document third party software evaluation and procurement processes

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience          
  • 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis including identifying business processes and supporting process improvements.
  • 3+ years' vulnerability management experience including identifying the security vulnerabilities and risks, supporting application/system owners to manage risks and remediate vulnerabilities
  • 3+ years' experience performing systems analysis, gathering requirements, testing, implementing, and supporting commercial off-the-shelf vendor applications
  • 3+ years' experience analyzing business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions
  • Working knowledge of networks, firewalls, and access controls
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows servers, SSL certificates, Firewall, vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, and Splunk
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to participate after hours and weekend support activities
 
  • 5+ years' experience with Windows Server and Windows Desktop solution
  • 5+ years' experience with SQL Server databases
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience
  • Experience with COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) preferably with manufacturing / refrigeration systems
