Inside Sales Representative (Finance)



Job Summary:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Indelco, you will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries, processing customer orders, preparing quotes, and supporting the external sales team. You'll play a key role in driving revenue by maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional service throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and emails from customers and prospects to provide product information, pricing, and availability
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes based on customer specifications, drawings, and requirements
  • Convert quotes into orders and enter them into the ERP system
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business needs and offering appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Outside Sales Representatives to support customer accounts and opportunities
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
  • Follow up on open quotes, backorders, and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally in coordination with other departments
  • Support occasional customer service duties, including returns and order tracking
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of inside sales, customer service, or industrial distribution experience (plastics or industrial piping products a plus)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in quotes and order processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer-first mindset with a drive to achieve sales goals
