Do you have a passion for fresh, authentic food? Our Smithtown store is looking for a PT Mozzarella Clerk to join our Pasta & Mozzarella Department! This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who loves the art of cheese making.
What Youll Do:
Handcraft fresh mozzarella daily using Uncle Giuseppes authentic Italian recipeStretch, shape, and taste-test batches to ensure top-notch qualityWeigh, package, and label our house-made mozzarella for saleKeep display refrigerators fully stocked, neat, and guest-readyShare your mozzarella-making knowledge with curious customersMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspaceRecord ingredient weights, batch sizes, and transfers with accuracyAssist with supplies, equipment, and any other production needs
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious cheesemaking or food production experience preferredStrong attention to detail with excellent quality standardsBasic math skills & good communication skillsComfortable working with kitchen equipment in a production settingAbility to read, write, and communicate in English
