Position Summary

Leads team focused on installation, configuration and maintenance of IT Systems and Platforms to achieve performance and security of various business applications. Supports domains inclusive of but not limited to Server, Storage, Information Security, Technical Assets, Database, Network, Infrastructure platforms.

What You'll Do:

This is an opportunity for an IT Team Leader with a focus on leading the team responsible for Network Security. Responsible for the overall success of the Network Security team through adherence to standards, procedures, change management and compliance. Enables resource productivity through training, growth opportunities and mentoring. This individual will work within operations and across divisions to achieve success with organizational goals.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Prior leadership experience on service-oriented teams

• Experience with network security technologies such as firewall platforms, web content filtering, network access controls, VPN's and basic troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages overall operations of designated area of authority. Interviews, hires, trains, and directs personnel. Prepares and conducts performance assessments, coordinates discipline and oversees Employee development as required.
  • Oversees the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems software and hardware for multiple consumers
  • Ensures uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of systems in adherence to operational guidelines
  • Leads the team in acquiring, installing, upgrading, and supporting components, as well as planning for and responding to service outages
  • Provides day-to-day oversight of core technical operational work, including end-user support, print operations, data center operations, inventory management, and MACs (Moves, Adds, and changes)
  • Sets goals and objectives for achieving operational results, ensuring policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, consumers, and stakeholders

Qualifications

Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, in computer or information science, business or equivalent and four years' experience in IT or related discipline; or
  • Associate degree in computer or information science, business or equivalent and six years' experience in IT or related discipline; or
  • High School diploma or equivalent and eight years' experience in IT or related discipline.


Additional Experience

  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.


Designations and/or Licenses

  • Completion of relevant designations or training preferred.
