Operations Intelligence Analyst-1 (Finance)



Job Description:

Serves as an internal consultant to the business, helping define, document and implement business process and related improvements. Works with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements, assess current operations and identify improvement opportunities. May support and/or lead process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to business, budget and other requirements.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

  • Gains familiarity with Business Analysis concepts, practices and methodologies.
  • With guidance, performs or assist with routine business analysis activity, including:
    • Working with internal stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements,
    • Translating business requirements into technical and related support requirements,
    • Evaluating whether existing technologies are fit-for-purpose,
    • Designing, developing and installing new processes, systems or technologies,
    • Training users in the use and application of new technologies,
    • Identifying technical issues and developing resolution strategies.
    • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Applies advanced knowledge and skills to work individually and collaboratively with other OI team members to perform analysis on projects/experiments, and uses that analysis to advise on important strategic decisions improving the customer experience, associate efficiency, and/or the Company's profitability.
  • Builds, maintains, and communicates detailed reporting models, scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and related tools to assist corporate leadership in evaluating current products and/or business lines, assessing potential ventures, and identifying current operational weaknesses.
  • Prepares and presents presentations to team and Company leadership on project results using dashboards, PowerPoint, Power BI, and/or other visualization tools.
  • Provides strategic assistance to the OI Department Leadership by making recommendations in the areas of project analysis, team formation and initiatives, and best practices.
  • Supports the development of short and long-term financial insight, goals, and recommendations to help drive profitability. This includes ad hoc trend/historical analysis in support of budgeting/forecasting processes as needed.
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization's Values.

Qualifications

  • Up to two years' experience
  • BA Degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Advanced Excel, ServiceNow, SQL, Power BI, Data Bricks, strongly preferred
