Project Manager – Network Engineering (Information Technology)

Join Publix Technology as a Project Manager where you will be responsible for managing multiple Network Engineering efforts. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management support for network engineering projects
  • Create project plans and manage project resources
  • Track purchases against budgets and financial reports
  • Deliver projects by working with network engineers, IT Delivery Managers (ITDMs), other IT team resources, contractors, and vendors
  • Foster and maintain working relationships with IT and business personnel
  • Provide project updates to the Network Engineering senior managers and ITDMs

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, project management or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in large enterprise networks
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools
  • Good understanding of network engineering technologies
  • Experience working with cabling vendors and WAN/telco providers
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory security requirements (SOX, PCI)
  • Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience working in a process structured environment which includes change management, security vulnerability reviews and disaster recovery preparedness
  • Successful and proven track record of leading large-scale projects and extensive background in the planning of complex solutions
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • PMP certification
  • Excellent knowledge of network engineering technologies and solutions
