Metro One is looking for a strong Front Desk Coordinator in physical security operations to execute the various core functions of the reception and Analyst duties. Analysts work closely with teams across the security organization and the wider business to understand requirements, deliver timely analysis, and present key insights to internal stakeholders. The Analyst will assess, identify, and report on risks to protect the safety of our client's personnel, facilities, and assets on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, exceptional analytical talents, and a thorough understanding of collaboration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor access control systems (badges, keycards, visitor logs).

Verify identification of employees, contractors, and visitors.

Observe and report suspicious activities to security or law enforcement.

Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and security systems.

Conduct regular security checks of lobby or reception area.

Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, lockdowns, or medical incidents.

Maintain incident reports and daily security logs.

Enforce building policies, such as no unauthorized access or prohibited items.

Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer and route incoming phone calls to appropriate personnel.

Manage visitor sign-in/out process, issue badges, and provide directions.

Coordinate with internal staff for scheduled appointments or deliveries.

Handle incoming mail and deliveries, notifying recipients.

Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.

Provide basic administrative support, such as scheduling or data entry.

Basic Qualifications

Active Guard card or the ability to obtain one
Analytic and critical thinking skills with the ability to prepare reports
Ability to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problems
Demonstrate a high level of competency with computer systems (e.g., Microsoft suite, social media monitoring, etc.)
Excellent ability to diagnose and troubleshoot risk assessment issues
Skill in oral and written communication, including escalations to senior management
Must be willing to undergo pre-employment processes such as Drug Testing and Background screening

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a security receptionist or GSOC analyst or comparable role in security administration preferred
Knowledge of access control and software systems such as Lenel a plus
