Clinic Supervisor - Ultrasound (Finance)



Clinic Supervisor - Imaging (Ultrasound)

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Clinic Supervisor to oversee the daily administrative operations of our Imaging department (Ultrasound). This position is a non-technologist role, and will assist the Imaging Manager in daily supervisory responsibilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality patient care, and staff support, while upholding strategic goals in performance and customer service.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare administration, and the specific needs and requirements of the Imaging department.

Hiring range: $30.00/hour to $39.00/hour, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise clinic operations and provide direct oversight of Ultrasonographers and Imaging Support Specialists
  • Lead onboarding, training, and continuous education initiatives for new and existing staff
  • Support process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and quality outcomes
  • Conduct performance evaluations, participate in hiring decisions, and manage disciplinary actions
  • Assist in supervising all Imaging staff when the Imaging Manager is unavailable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of healthcare office management experience required, preferably in an Imaging department, ambulatory, or acute care setting
  • Familiarity with HR employment law, record keeping, and confidentiality best practices
  • Proven ability to interview, select, train, and develop qualified staff
  • Strong competence in staff development and performance evaluations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Pay Range:
$29.39 - $44.09

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
