Reports to: Director, Product - HOKA Apparel

Location: Portland, OR (In-Office)

The Role

As the Associate Product Line Manager for HOKA Apparel, you will support the seasonal product line by taking a consumer-led approach. Under the leadership of the Apparel Product Director, you will be an integral part of the global product team, contributing to the growth and future of one of the world's fastest-growing brands. This role offers an introduction to the product process and a significant growth opportunity.

Your Impact

  • Support the HOKA product team in creating seasonal range plans with a focus on growth and brand authenticity.
  • Cultivate and execute ongoing consumer insight touchpoints to drive brief writing and product execution.
  • Gain and provide market, consumer, and competitor insights for respective product categories to share with Design, Sourcing, Merchandising, and Marketing.
  • Build and maintain tools to facilitate cross-functional communication.
  • Ensure clear and concise brand messaging internally for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of creation, open communication, critical analysis, and action to drive product direction.
  • Coordinate product review and input sessions with athletes and merchandising to ensure constant feedback.
  • Collaborate with design, product development, costing, and materials teams to build products that meet intent and margin expectations.
  • Support and actively participate in seasonal go-to-market meetings, trade shows, and sales meetings.
  • Manage sample sets and communicate between sales, product, merchandising, and marketing teams.

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years of related experience in retail, sales, marketing, product line management, merchandising, product development, or design.
  • Passion for creating performance and style-driven apparel.
  • Ability to learn on the fly and absorb new processes and approaches.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Diplomatic approach in working across varied levels of project stakeholders.
  • Experience resolving complex problems with a can-do attitude.
  • Experience designing and delivering compelling presentations for small and large audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
