Visiting Assistant Instructor (Finance)

The University of South Florida, School of Social Work invites applications for 1 Visiting Assistant Professors of Instruction or Assistant Instructors (non-tenure track), for the Tampa campus. position is set to begin August, 7, 2025. The position is dedicated to providing face to face instruction in the BSW and MSW programs and contributing to the service, field coordination, and field course instruction needs in the School. Preference will be given to applicants who have the ability to teach across the curriculum and also have a strong clinical background. Term of appointment shall be 12 months for one year with the possibility of renewal based on funding. Salary is commensurate with experience.

• MSW from a CSWE accredited School of Social Work
• Two years of full-time or the equivalent of part-time post-graduate social work practice experience
• Teaching and or training experience in social work education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in face-to-face settings
• Administrative experience in social work education and/or leadership in a human service agency
• Experience in creating and developing community partnerships
• Evaluation experience consistent with CSWE accreditation standards
• Field coordination or field course instruction experience
• Supervisory experience with students or staff
• State licensure in any state
• Ph.D. in Social Work or related area or DSW
